HIKE SCHEDULE:
8:30 am to 10:30 am - Hike with a Ranger - 2 mile hike, learn about the different people who traveled the Natchez Trace i.e. Andrew Jackson, US Grant, Pushmataha, Dolly Gordon and more!
9:30-10:30 - Hike Through History - reenactment of the US Army colonel who oversaw the development of the Trace into a military road in 1801
10:30- 12 noon and 1 p.m to 2:30 Hike with the Chickasaw -Easy nature hike with a representative of the Chickasaw Nation
10:30 am to Noon - Hike for Fitness - University of North Alabama professors take you on a strenuous hike and discover the benefits of exercising outdoors and how to reach your fitness goals.

Description
The Natchez Trace Parkway Association and other community groups will "Hike to Celebrate" the Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail and the 50th Anniversary of the National Trails Act with guided hikes through out the day.
