Description
I'm writing about a show that is near and dear to my heart. It's called "Songs through Sign." This is a show that highlights sign language through the use of different genres of music. It contains skits, bucket drumming and a special appearance by the MPDP cheerleaders. What makes this show so special? That it is completely performed by Metro Parks Disabilities (MPDP) participants. This is a show that you do not want to miss!!! The Songs through Sign show is Monday, April 18, 2016 at Chaffins Barn Dinner Theatre. Doors open at 6pm. Show starts at 7:30pm. Tickets cost $50 which includes show, dinner and a silent auction. This is a fundraiser for MPDP. Metro Parks Disabilities Program is a day program for adults with special needs. At MPDP, programs such as drama, swim team, sports training, music and arts & crafts are offered to participants. This fundraiser would allow MPDP to offer more programs for our participants.
