Taking Care of Our Parents While Taking Care of Our Kids
is specifically for the Sandwich generation about senior living options and resources available in Nashville as the need for affordable housing continues to rise. Presented by Elizabeth Moss, Caregivers by WholeCare, and Mary Wester, independent real estate investor and program creator HouseShareNashville, they will share their personal experiences caring for aging parents. They'll also discuss how to navigate the costs of living at home, assisted living, nursing home care and alternative co-housing such as "Golden Girls" style and senior villages emerging across the country.
